THE CLYDE - IMAGINED FOR VODKA
Peach Cosmopolitan with Benedictine-inspired herbs and artisanal bitters
The first vodka-based cocktail to thrive in the United States was the Gypsy Queen, with its heyday in the 1930s at the storied Russian Tea Room in Manhattan. The drink included Benedictine, a liquor made of herbs, roots, and sugar.
Herb & Lou's used Benedictine as the inspiration when crafting The Clyde. In this take, you'll find a touch of peach, handcrafted bitters, and a slight citrus zest. All you need to travel back to old-time New York City is one cube and your favorite vodka.
- Step 1. Freeze a box of The Clyde.
- Step 2. Drop a frozen cube into a glass filled with a shot (1.5 oz) of liquor or seltzer.
- Step 3. Give your drink a shake or a stir and enjoy your Peach Cosmopolitan with Benedictine-Inspired Herbs & Artisanal Bitters.
